That was great, Andy! Thanks for posting. I like how Fry says there is no right or wrong use of language. But context is important. That's good advice for those of us who write for children and young adults. We need to free ourselves to write in a way that best communicates our ideas to our audience, even if that means breaking some traditional rules. Or ESPECIALLY if that means breaking some rules!
